At Hope Floats Movement, our mission is to uplift struggling families, single parents, children, and homeless women by providing them with food, resources, and opportunities to rebuild their lives. Guided by compassion and faith, we aim to restore dignity, create lasting change, and remind every individual that they are not alone. Through community outreach, job initiatives, and acts of kindness, we bring hope where it is needed most.
Anagrace Mendes was born and raised in New York, where life taught her the true meaning of strength and perseverance. As a single mother of twin boys, she faced firsthand the challenges of making ends meet and the weight of carrying it all alone. Those experiences planted a seed of compassion in her heart — a deep understanding of what it feels like to struggle, yet still hold on to hope.
After moving to South Florida, Anagrace met her husband, Silber, and together they shared a vision of giving back. Fueled by faith and love, she founded Hope Floats Movement Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to restoring hope and dignity to those in need.
Today, Anagrace’s mission is clear: to uplift single mothers, children, struggling families, and homeless women — helping them not only meet their basic needs but also empowering them to rebuild their lives. Her journey is a testament to the power of resilience, compassion, and community. Through Hope Floats Movement, she strives to be the hand she once wished she had — offering hope, one household at a time.

Born and raised in Minas Gerais, Brazil, Silber Mendes came to the United States at the age of 20 in search of a better future. With determination and a strong work ethic, he dedicated himself to providing for his children, mother, and siblings back home while building a new life in a new country.
Silber’s passion for helping others deepened when he joined the Gideons Motorcycle Club, where he became actively involved in their homeless ministry — providing food, clothing, and hygiene essentials to those in need. Through his service, Silber discovered the power of compassion and the importance of giving back to the community.
Today, Silber serves as Sergeant-at-Arms for the Gideons Motorcycle Club and Treasurer for Hope Floats Movement Inc. He combines his love for motorcycles with his heart for ministry, often joining forces with his wife, Anagrace, to organize impactful events that uplift struggling families, single mothers, children, and homeless women.
For Silber, this journey is more than a mission — it’s a calling to serve, support, and make a lasting difference in the community he calls home.
